Ground Breaking Oasis at Aventura
We had the privilege of celebrating the Groundbreaking Ceremony of Oasis at Aventura. A new affordable senior community with 95 apartments in Miami, Florida. The community is the latest joint venture between HTG and AM Affordable Housing, a non-profit founded by NBA Hall of Famer and Miami Heat legend Alonzo Mourning. Ballast Construction is honored to have been selected as the General Contractor for the Project. We would like to thank @housingtrustgroup for the opportunity to bring this much needed project to the Ojus Community.
Christ Journey Church
We were honored to participate in the Groundbreaking of the new Christ Journey Church located on Sunset Drive and 74th Avenue in Glenvar Heights, Fl. Ballast Construction will be serving as the General Contractor for the project. This future place of worship will be an approximately 40,000-square foot facility on 6.5 acres of land with an auditorium, church classrooms, office space, and various other amenities. CJC has owned this property for almost 30 years and we are thrilled to be a part of making their much awaited dream a reality!

Housing Trust Group
Housing Trust Group (HTG), a leading multifamily developer, has closed on financing and commenced construction on Oasis at Aventura, a new $37 Million affordable senior community with 95 apartments in Miami, Florida. The community is the latest joint venture between HTG and AM Affordable Housing, a non-profit founded by NBA Hall of Famer and Miami Heat legend Alonzo Mourning. The design and construction team for Oasis at Aventura includes Realization Architects, general contractor Ballast Construction, engineer Sun-Tech Engineering, Inc., interior design by B Pila Design Studio, and landscape architecture by Witkin Hults + Partners.

The Junior League of Miami, Inc. is an organization of women whose mission is to advance women’s leadership for meaningful community impact through volunteer action, collaboration, and training. LBA AWARDS
Ballast Construction was recently bestowed with the Prestigious award of Midsize General Contractor of the Year by the Latin Builders Association. The LBA is the largest Hispanic Construction association in the United States of America, and has been a pillar of the South Florida Community since 1971.
